Christmas Party at Sutter's Mill.

Cole had the cutest Christmas party at his school. As you can see WE (yes, I volunteered for the whole day) wore our jammies to school, had a full breakfast, got to meet Santa and eat goodies ALL day. I must give it to his teachers, a full day in his class is exhausting. Wouldn't of missed it for anything.

Still swimming.... in the winter.

Cole is still swimming, in the winter and OUTSIDE. I think people think I am a bad mom to "make" him swim in the freezing cold. However, Cole loves it and has never asked me to not go. Yes, I love watching him swim and if he ever did come to me and say he didn't want to swim, secretly I would be sad and might shed a tear but as of now, he still loves to go.... even in the winter. We did invest in a Parka a few heating beanies and layers of clothes. Truth be told, it is me who suffers standing in the freezing winter weather watching him. The pool is heated and the kids think it is so neat to see the steam coming off the water. Now, getting him out of that warm water and running to the locker room is a different story :-)! Keep swimming Cole, you are amazing.

Boys are back to Snowboarding.

How cute is this picture? I just LOVE it. Now that it is winter the boys are headed back to the mountain to snowboard. They have only been twice due to low snow levels :-(. Out of all the things Cole does, I know this is his favorite. He love to be alone with his daddy and getting to bond 1 on 1.

Wrestling has began.

Mr. Cole has started wrestling for his schools team. He is the only kindergartner out there and he is already starting to make waves with how good and strong he is. I will admit as a mother it has been a TOUGH sport to watch and I might have shed a few tears watching the intensity of the sport. Cole loves it however and is doing fantastic. He took third in his first "take down tournament' out of 6 kids and took 4th in his first "real tournament" out of 8 kids. Most of the kids he wrestles are all 2nd or 3rd graders. He has quite the busy schedule as he also still swims. What a athlete this child is.

Snow Storm

A major snow storm hit Placerville and it hit hard. I was watching the neighbor kids when the snow started to fall and we played in the snow at night for about 2 hours. It was beautiful for about 2 days and then we had record low temperatures, which means ice and icy roads. It was pretty scary and I think our front steps were icy for about 2 weeks.

Thanksgiving trip to Pismo Beach.

OMG...OMG... I can finally post pictures from my phone all at once. I am in blog heaven right now. We went to Pismo again for Thanksgiving and had a blast. Our great friends Molly, NIma, Ronin and Lily came the first part of the trip and it was perfect. Our kiddos get along great and us adults have WAY too much fun we are together. Carly turned 3 on Thanksgiving day and she spent her bday on the beach, with sand in her toes and the warm sun on her back. If you notice the big scrape on Carly's forhead she had a major stroller accident. Basically JD thought she was strapped in and she flew out on our walk to town after hitting a curb. Poor thing. One day we will look back and laugh... I think.

A Trip to Tahoe... a few months back.

I finally have figured out how to upload photos from my phone. Yipee, this will make it SO MUCH EASIER.
