You have a friend in me!

I think Cole could win the best big brother award. This kid amazes me everyday with the patience and love he has for Carly. Trust me, Carly can have her moments of not being the nicest sister to him. I always told JD I wanted a boy first, so if we had a girl she would have a big brother to look after her and protect her always. My wish came true!

Obsession.

So, Cole has been starting to talk about wanting a dirt bike and we have been able to redirect his mind a bit. Until.... we went to my brothers house and Uncle Rich handed Cole a motorcycle magazine. This magazine now gets carried around with him every where he goes! Pretty sure this has been his choice for reading material during bedtime as well. He knows where his size bikes are in the magazine and he shows me about 5 times a day. We mentioned to Cole that he has to be 6 in order to have one and he has started to count down the months until his birthday.. in March. We also told Cole that if he did well in swim team and practiced hard and raced hard we would seriously consider getting him one. Well... Cole's first swim meet he took 1st in backstroke and 3rd in freestyle.... Ugggg! Hey Uncle Rich... thanks :-)!

Ohhhh Carly!

Ohhh Carly. You amaze us all everyday with your hilarious personality. You were just born funny and you love to make people laugh. You seriously are like a pint sized comedian. You decided you needed to wear brothers swim cap and came parading around the room looking for a reaction from all of us. You got it and I barley had time to snap this photo. I am glad I got a picture because it captures how silly you really are.

Cole and Dad activity!

How cool is this? JD and Cole were outside the other day playing and enjoying each others company. I had no idea what they were up to until I heard Cole's voice calling for me to come and see what he and dad had done. First of all, I must say, it was not a warm day at all and I love how Cole trusted JD's box boat building skills and got right in. Their boat lasted for a long time and Cole had a blast just sitting in it and floating around. I must give JD a A+ for his creativity and skill. Fantastic work!

Walking hand in hand to Pa Pa and Grandma's!

Sometimes I question our move back to Placerville and if it was the right decision and if I am 100% happy living just around the corner from where I grew up. Then a moment like this happens and I realize it really does not matter if I am 100% happy but how happy the kids have been to live this close to their grandparents. The kiddos, LOVE walking to Pa Pa and Grandma's and it truly is amazing to see how close the 4 of them are. Plus, Cole is really learning how to fish... in Pa Pa's pool... ha! To be honest, I am happy and it has been a blessing for me to reconnect with my folks on a daily basis  and that would of never happened if we would of not moved to Placerville

First Baseball Game! Way back in April!

OMG.... look at these two. I LOVE the top picture and it makes me laugh every time I see it. Cole was pretty pumped up to play his very first T-Ball game and he did well. His favorite thing to do is hit and for some reason he has found a love for 3rd base. Carly, loves to cheer on her brother and just looks too cute in her cheerleading outfit. What a great pair those two are!

Easter 2013 (yes, I am that far behind).

Easter this year was a bit hectic as we had just gotten home from Pismo the night before but we had a wonderful time! We colored eggs when we got home from our long drive from the beach and in the morning the kiddos searched for eggs at our house and played with their baskets of goodies! We then headed over to Grandma and Pa Pa's were ALL the cousins searched for the TONS of eggs my mom (I mean Easter Bunny) hid and then they all played the day away with each other. Everyone looked so cute all dressed up and the kiddos, along with the adults had a beautiful day and night.

Pismo / March 23 - 30 2013

Uggg, these pictures are not in order and I am too lazy today to figure it out. As you can see from the pictures we had a fantastic vacation with our friends in Pismo. We spent a whole week and enjoyed every second of it. We already have another trip planned in July and we are counting down the days...again!
