So I am giving up on trying to get all my summer photos back that I lost when my phone landed in the toilette. Makes me so sad. We had a wonderful summer. Cole did amazing at swim and qualified to the Meet of Champions which is the best swimmers in Northern California. There he did well and placed at the end of the pack but was only a handful of 5 year olds there competing with 7 and unders. Cole also took home the Dolphin Award for his swim team. Which is the best award you can be given. We were ecstatic and that award means a lot to not only Cole but JD and I as well as we know how hard that little guy worked everyday this summer in the pool.
We also went on a weeks vacation to Pismo which was blissful. The days were filled with just relaxing as a family, swimming, eating and enjoying each others company. We went camping with our friends and make a few trips to Tahoe. It was a wonderful summer and I only wish I had those pictures back.

So upset...
I have been meaning for the last 3 months to put pictures up and blog about our summer fun and last week my phone fell in the toilette and ALL 1200 pictures from summer went with it and at this point I can not get them back. I am sick to my tummy even thinking about it. I could cry even thinking about all the memories from trips, swim team and the dog days of summer that were on that phone. So, I will start up again tomorrow with Cole's first day of Kindergarten... ahh. I can hardly believe the time has come for him to start REAL school. I will post tomorrow about his day. Until then, I will go cry in the fetal position about my 1200 lost Iphone photos.... ugg...

Memorial Day Camp out.
We decided instead of trying to go camping with the crowds we would have a swim party at our house and then a camp out at Jenn, Jarrod, Haley and Morgan's house which is about a mile from our house :-). The Browne's, Norwood"s and Cox's also joined in on the fun. We all set up tents in Jarrod and Jenn's back yard. Carly had a rough night that night and I ended up having to sit with her in the house ALL night holding her because I was afraid she was going to wake everyone up. It was pretty much a nightmare for me but everyone else had a blast and that is all that matters. We will make this a annual event now.
Dry Diggins Dolphins Swim 2013
Cole, you are one amazing swimmer. For 5 years old you are in the top 5 of all 6 and under in our league. You still have one more year in this age group and you are already making a little name for yourself. I have started to notice that people come up to the pool to watch you swim. So young, yet you have such a natural ability in the pool. It sure did not come from mommy. I am so proud to watch you swim and between you and me, during each and every race of yours, mommy sheds a tear or two because I am overwhelmed with pride that you are my son. I hope you continue to enjoy swim and have fun racing. Your hard work and dedication at 5 is amazing.
Pogo Sticking Cole.
OMG, this video cracks me up. Not only because he is in his tiddy whites but everything about it. His tongue out, him not thinking I am recording him and the fact that I am letting him pogo stick on the top deck with the ledge behind him and no shoes. I can't stop laughing....
JUMPING!
We all know that Cole is a amazing swimmer and has been for a while now. Carly is exactly the same. The difference with Carly is she has NO fear. Which is great for the water but also terrifying as she believes she can swim and will just jump in the water with no fear or hesitation. We have her in lessons 3 days a week and will continue year around just like we did with Cole. My life will be a lot less stressful when we are confident in her swimming.
