We took off for Tahoe back in April for a weekend away. We went with our good friends Molly, Nima, Ronin and Lily. Their kids are the same age as Cole and Carly, so it works out perfect as the kids play together. We stayed at our timeshare and enjoyed the playground, pool, hot tub and had lunch at the Beacon right on the shores of Lake Tahoe. Poor Cole started not feeling well on the way up to Tahoe and spiked a high fever for the whole weekend and could not swallow or eat. On Sunday when we came home, I rushed him to Urgent Care and his tonsils were full of white puss and tonsillitis was the culprit. Poor kid :-(. All in all it was a fun trip and we all had a blast.
